Nurturing Architecture, Architects & Society
Summer temperatures are hotter than ever, pollution is rising & housing lists grow.
In a rapidly changing world, architecture has a crucial role to play in addressing environmental, political, economic & cultural challenges.
As architecture takes centre stage, we ask – what is our agency? What is our responsibility? What is our duty of care? As citizens, as architects, as employers, students & educators. And how do we make decisions when balancing often conflicting perspectives?
Who Cares?
We look to the future & seek to answer how the next generation of architects & citizens can rise up to be the custodians of our buildings & townscapes; navigating the challenges of a changing world.
Join us for a debate digging deep into the roots of architecture & its civic & societal role. We’ll hear from guest voices who will explore how we can care for our cities, neighbourhoods, cultural buildings, & people.
Bring your heart & your head to the debate.
6 O’Clock Sessions:
Imagine a place where public, politicians and professionals come together to debate the future of our cities. The 6 O’Clock Sessions are home to informed civic debate – topical discussion with a twist. These sessions are participatory in nature – different opinions are welcome, heard and respectfully challenged. Just the tonic for our polarised times. Everyone welcome.
